THE LAYERED APPROACH
The cockpit of the Nissan 370Z Coupe incorporates a 3-tier "layer concept", with a layer for information, operation and holding. The information layer provides good visibility and easy access to all key data with a large steering wheel opening that helps keep the steering-column-attached gauges in view. At the operation layer, everything is easily reached, including the "kidney-shaped" leather-wrapped steering wheel rim, padded shifter and switchgear. The holding layer includes the sport seat, knee pads and door trim support, which help to keep the driver comfortable and secure while driving.
A SEAT DESIGNED FOR THE SERIOUS DRIVER
The Nissan 370Z’s driver seat shows how seriously we take every detail of driving. The upper seatback has cutaway areas to help your arms move freely for steering and shifting. To let you work the pedals more easily, the lower seat cushions also feature cutaways, along with aggressive side bolsters and anti-slip materials help hold you in place.
